Lecture I in my Psychological Significance of the Biblical Stories series from May 16th at Isabel Bader Theatre in Toronto. In this lecture, I describe what I consider to be the idea of God, which is at least partly the notion of sovereignty and power, divorced from any concrete sovereign or particular, individual person of power. I also suggest that God, as Father, is something akin to the spirit or pattern inherent in the human hierarchy of authority, which is based in turn on the dominance hierarchies characterizing animals.

Em entrevista ao We Got This Covered, Boyd Holbrook disse que o novo filme da série Predador não será uma sequência direta do filme original.
“Nós já estamos trabalhando em Predador. Não é uma sequência Shane Black [diretor do filme] criou algo totalmente novo, mas de algum jeito mantendo a essência do filme original. Nós criamos coisas novas para a história que estamos contando agora. É algo novo. Não acho que vocês vão ver [Arnold] Schwarzenegger. Seria meio que um truque. É um filme de horror misturado com ficção científica”.
Sob direção de Shane Black, O Predador vai começar a ser rodado no próximo dia 20 de fevereiro, em local ainda não divulgado. O lançamento nos cinemas acontecerá em 9 de fevereiro de 2018.
Boyd Holbrook (Narcos, Logan) será o protagonista do filme, mistura de reboot e sequência, interpretando um ex-soldado da Marinha. Trevante Rhodes (Moonlight) e Keegan-Michael Key (Keanu) também estão no elenco como ex-soldados. Sterling K. Brown (American Crime Story) fará um agente do governo que recrutar o grupo para derrotar os Predadores. Olivia Munn (X-Men: Apocalipse) viverá uma cientista, e Jacob Tremblay, astro do filme O Quarto de Jack, completa o elenco.
